We’re “analytically creative” number nerds who believe in creating exponential value for you
As CEO of Red Bike Advisors, I'm responsible for setting the vision and strategy for the team and empowering them to serve our clients and bring exponential value to every engagement.
As a business owner myself, I know that a strong relationship with your accounting firm can make or break your success. I’m on a mission to help every one of our clients “breakaway from the pack” and gain a competitive advantage with a strong financial foundation.
I’m “analytically creative,” meaning I infuse both left- and right-brained thinking into strategy. I take big ideas and translate them into executable strategies and outcomes.
I love to cook, work out, walk on the beach, hike, read, and spend time with my husband and our four amazing kids.
“I believe every business owner needs to know their numbers in order to be truly successful, but you don’t have to be a financial whiz yourself. You won’t find me doing pivot tables in a spreadsheet or creating a headcount forecast, but I do have big growth goals and I rely on my CFO and accounting & tax teams to help me plan the route to getting there. When we help our clients achieve their big goals, I know we’ve truly succeeded in our mission.”
As Director of Advisory and Virtual CFO Services at Red Bike Advisors, I work with companies from startup stage to full maturity that are looking for strategic and proactive financial advice to help them grow revenue, bank more profits, and optimize cash flow.
As an MBA and CPA, I have a deep expertise in both business & financial strategy and tax. As an entrepreneur myself who has started, grown, and sold a business, I’ve been in your shoes and know how to translate between the language of finance and the language of business.
I’m a Certified Public Accountant and hold an MBA degree from the University of Maryland.
I like to cook, watch/coach my kids’ sports, and spend time outside with my wife Sarah, sons Wagner and Garrett, and dog, Echo.
“It’s simple: I love to help people achieve their full potential. This is reflected in all aspects of life, everything from my work to my family and community service. I believe there is a better way to do accounting and business, yet most entrepreneurs of small to mid-sized companies are under-served in terms of guidance and support. As an experienced entrepreneur, I still get a rush from seeing businesses grow and succeed. This is a huge motivator for me…it keeps things fresh every day and makes it fun to get up every morning.”
I investigate fraud and embezzlement cases for individuals and businesses, managing litigation support for clients such as municipalities, the DOJ, financial institutions, healthcare providers, and law firms. In addition to fraud and forensic services, I assist clients in preventing, managing, and resolving tax audits and disputes with taxing authorities.
My Specialty
I have a natural talent for identifying key information in investigations, a skill honed through my training, education, and experience. By combining these elements with my instincts, I efficiently pinpoint critical details early, reducing client costs and improving outcomes.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Pittsburgh. I am a licensed Certified Public Accountant (NC License No. 33577), a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified in Financial Forensics, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst and a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist.
I love cooking for family and friends, especially with the wood-fired oven I spent nearly 10 years building. My wife, Michele, and I enjoy life with our two kids, Violet and Luciano, exploring the beach, mountains, and spending time with friends.
“Team work. I love watching people grow personally and professionally. The specialized work that my team performs on a daily basis requires a broad base of knowledge, experience and technical skills. I am constantly impressed by the insights and contributions that my team brings to each investigation.”
As a Senior Tax Manager at Red Bike Advisors, I prioritize being a dependable resource for my clients, genuinely attuned to their unique needs and objectives. Drawing on more than two decades of experience, I have supported a diverse clientele including individuals, small businesses, and large corporations, all of whom I have assisted through the complexities of tax compliance.
As a CPA, I specialize in tax compliance for multi-state and consolidated businesses, individuals, and sole proprietorships.
I am a Certified Public Accountant and hold a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
My husband and I currently live in Birmingham, but spend most weekends in North Alabama enjoying a slower-pace and retreat from the city. I consider any day filled with football games, reading or road trips as time well spent! I also look forward to each moment with our daughters or any of our four-legged family members.
“I know my role is about more than just numbers – my bottom line is about people. Providing true value lies in being a consistent resource which fosters trust and reliability, essentials for achieving long term success. I believe my fight with breast cancer further enhanced my drive to cultivate these personal relationships, recognize the needs of others, and navigate challenges with compassion and purpose.”
I work with attorneys and individuals on divorce cases or business partner disputes along with many other types of litigation support. I also help clients sleep better at night by helping both individuals and small businesses to resolve any IRS or back tax issues they may face.
As a CPA/CFF and CTRS I help clients understand and navigate challenging situations. They can rest assured they are in the hands of an expert to help guide them through IRS issues, divorce, or business partner disputes.

“I enjoy solving problems for people. I take pride in finding a solution for someone’s problems that were previously keeping them up at night.”
As head of the accounting and bookkeeping department, I manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. With years of experience in the field, I enjoy one-on-one interactions to understand and support each client’s unique needs. Whether solving complex puzzles or researching unique challenges, I’m committed to ensuring our clients’ books are accurate and up-to-date, helping them make informed decisions and easing the stress of tax season.
I specialize in the Dental, Medical, and Veterinarian fields, helping small businesses understand their numbers so they can focus on growth while we handle the accounting. As a small business owner myself, I understand the challenges of managing so many moving parts and strive to make the process easier for my clients.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, a Bookkeeping Certification, and the QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor Certification.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, traveling, reading historical fiction, baking and any outdoor activities. Fun fact: I speak, read and write German fluently.
“I love to be able to take the stress of the accounting work off my client’s plates and to assist them in understanding what the numbers mean to them and their small business. I love to be able to assist them with solving a pain point and making their lives easier on a daily basis. Being able to clean up the books and getting things balanced to the penny gives me a thrill and sense of accomplishment.”
I work with a wide range of clients, from small seasonal businesses to large, complex companies with intercompany operations. Coming from a small town near a metropolitan area exposed me to diverse businesses, helping me build a strong knowledge base. I’ve also assisted numerous individuals with their tax needs.
My expertise goes beyond numbers—I excel at understanding people and their needs, which is key to helping them. Growing up in the OH, WV, PA tri-state area during the Marcellus Shale boom, I developed a strong interest in managing natural resource royalties. I’ve also excelled in real estate accounting.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from West Liberty University; Studying for CPA Exam

“The accounting/tax business is more than maximizing profits and projecting income. It’s a people business. It’s about understanding the people behind the financial statements and helping them maximize their entire life, not just their earnings.”
As a Tax Controversy Specialist at Red Bike Advisors, I work with clients who find themselves immersed in tax disputes. Whether these disputes involve the Internal Revenue Service, state taxing authorities, or both, these interactions can be challenging for clients to navigate without professional assistance.
Having retired from the IRS after 33 years, I have a record of successfully navigating the labyrinth of tax administration. My experience as a Senior Manager within the Collection Division of the IRS and later as a Senior Manager within the IRS Taxpayer Advocate Service has provided me with a unique ability to understand and evaluate both the position of our clients and the IRS and enables me to formulate a course of action to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients.
I am an Enrolled Agent (EA) qualified to practice before the IRS. Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. As an Enrolled Agent, I have unlimited practice rights. This means I can help clients with any tax issue and engage with any IRS office.
I enjoy traveling, spending time driving my Jeep on the beach, cooking on our smoker, watching Nebraska football, checking out food trucks and little beach eateries, spoiling grand kids and our dogs and just enjoying life!
“When I retired from the IRS, I had decided that the only way that I would reenter the tax arena would be if I found a team that held the same strong ethical beliefs and passion to help clients that I do. I found that team in Red Bike Advisors. We check our egos at the door and truly work as a team to help our clients achieve the best possible outcome to what are often emotional, stressful and challenging situations.”

As the Happiness Consultants at Red Bike Advisors, we are Ali Register’s favorite coworkers. We like to lay at her feet when she works from home, and maybe even attempt to lay on her laptop.
Our specialty is trying to play with squeaky toys when she is on the phone or even trying to give kisses when she is doing something important.
We are incredibly good at chasing squirrels, barking when a car door shuts, and knowing when a cheese wrapper is being unraveled.
We love to take long walks (although Gypsy Girl gets really tired really fast), playing with our little brother because he loves to run around the house with our toys (we have to chase him a lot), and of course being spoiled with treats! (Sometimes our little brother even sneaks us his cheese sticks!) We also love to lay on one another, which somehow is super comfortable!
“We make sure our mom feels happy and loved every day at work, and afterwards.”
