If you’ve ever been on a video call with me, you’ve probably noticed the sign on my wall: Do What You Love, Love What You Do.
That’s what every business owner wants: freedom, growth, and a company you truly love.

That’s what every business owner wants: freedom, growth, and a company you truly love.

But those goals start with one thing: financial fitness.

When you know where you stand financially, you make smarter decisions, plan for growth, and finally stop putting out fires.

Red Bike Advisors is your year-round accounting and tax partner - delivering “done for you” compliance and tax & finance insights that power your financial success and gives you the clarity to build a stronger, more predictable business.

And when you sign on with us, onboarding is more than a checklist. It’s where your financial foundation gets built. We combine cleanup, setup, and strategy to give you clarity, confidence, and control over your business finances.

So, what actually happens when you join the Red Bike Club? Here’s a full breakdown.

1. Kickoff

We start with a strategy session to align goals and expectations: how we’ll work together, what do you want to get out of this relationship, and what questions you want answered.

This is where we begin to shape your Financial Fitness Framework, and you’ll see why we believe strategic financial advice is an investment, not a cost center. From day one, our team works as part of yours — communicating proactively, pricing transparently, and building a forward-looking strategy that evolves with your business.

2. Gather info.

Next comes what we call the “document avalanche.” We collect the logins, reports, and records needed to get started. The faster we receive everything, the faster we can get caught up and on a regular monthly cadence.

For accounting cleanups, you’ll work with a dedicated Client Excellence Coordinator guiding you through each step. We may also schedule separate onboarding sessions for accounting, payroll, advisory, or other services depending on your scope.

3. Catch-up.

We clean up and catch up on any overdue bookkeeping or tax work. The timeline depends on how much work there is and how responsive you are - your responsiveness sets the pace.

Typically, we can’t begin tax work until your books are cleaned and closed, so this step ensures everything is accurate, current, and ready for proactive planning.

4. Accounting review.

Once your first month of books is complete, we review your financials and chart of accounts to ensure they reflect the reality of how your business operates and sets you up for reporting you can actually use. This part is the foundation for good financial fitness (most of your competitors don’t bother).

5. Tax Strategy.

We review your latest tax return and entity structure to uncover savings and align your strategy with your business goals — all built on clean books and proactive, money-saving tax planning.

6. Monthly.

With your foundation in place, you’ll start receiving “Know Your Numbers” financial reporting and tax updates that keep you informed, proactive, and in control.

7. 90-day review.

After 90 days, we review your scope of work to ensure everything’s running smoothly and on track, and that there were no surprises hiding in the books or taxes.

8. Annual review.

Each year, we revisit your strategy, make cost-of-living or service updates, and identify new opportunities as your business evolves.

What year-round partnership looks like

At Red Bike Advisors, onboarding isn’t just about getting your numbers in order — it’s about setting you up for long-term growth and financial clarity. With clean books, proactive planning, and a strategic financial framework in place, you’ll finally have the confidence to make decisions that move your business forward.
